Scripture Reference: Matthew 4:1-11

Let’s be real, anyone even attempting to live for GOD is constantly under attack from within. When I say “within”, I’m saying it from a point of those thoughts that we allow to swirl around and fester in our minds. Not to mention the heart issues (Proverbs 4:23) that drive the negative stinking thinking brought on by our own personal perceptions of ourselves. Is it feasible to say that we often times accept the thoughts of those that “boo” and thumb their noses up at us, and then in turn we reject the praises and applauses that we receive from others? Whether it’s the enemy in our ears or our own self generated thoughts.. a battle is raging and even JESUS Himself as we’ll find in this passage of Scripture faced blatant attacks as well. Let’s dive in!!!

Matthew 15:16-20 / Luke 6:45 / Proverbs 20:5 / Psalm 22:14-24

Final Thought: I would be a lying fool to tell you even with the Holy Ghost alive and well within me, that I don’t battle with my thoughts and those of insignificant others. That’s where The WORD OF GOD takes form like the Great Trainer that it is, and teaches us how to stick and move, bob-weave-jab-jab, sidestep then land a counter hook to the jaws of those thoughts that have formed heads and circle around us!!! Be the aggressor.. everyone that smiles at you is not rooting for you in your corner, every person in your life whether family, congregation members and leaders, posing friends, or fly by night acquaintances isn’t talking good about you or to you. But remember this, be so focused on hearing only the Voice of GOD that you never lose sight of the BLESSINGS He is readily preparing in the presence of the enemy and those he uses to attack you!!!(Psalm 23:5)
