Scripture Reference: Luke 22: 31-38, 39-46, 54-62, Matthew 26:31-35, Mark 14:27-31

Isn’t it interesting how we can be warned or even see the warning signs of the attacks of the enemy, yet we still choose to remain in denial as if there’s no such being as the devil and all of his dark hosts seeking who they can destroy or catch with their guard down straddling the fence of living for GOD and dabbling with the World at the same time?(1 Peter 5:8) I mean we can literally read the Word, know of or know the Word, be professing the Holy Ghost being alive inside of us and still take a naive hop towards what we know is wrong and then have a nerve to try to justify it through the same Word of GOD to seemingly pad the stats of our obnoxious retorts. Whaaaaaaaaat?!!! As we will see in these passages of Scripture, Peter was warned by JESUS that the enemy wanted to use him, JESUS prayed for his faith to remain strong and what happened? Peter with his bold, in self-denial sanity ended up doing exactly what the enemy wanted him to do. Sound familiar? Of course it does!!! So, let’s dive in!!!

Final Thought: Although Peter ultimately denied JESUS in front of many of his haters, there was still use for him and he would be redeemed from the choices he made.(Matthew 16:18) Oh boy, do I know about that firsthand!!! Still to this day, I find myself daily sometimes much more than twice a day (morning rising & nighttime before rack time) on my knees asking Our LORD to rescue me from myself and to not allow the enemy to have his way with me.(1 John 1:9) Moreover, I thank GOD for the warning flares that He sets off to guide me during my darkest hours. Somebody knows what I’m talking about!!! So my Brothers and Sisters pay careful attention to the signs of slipping into as the Scriptures say “snares” that the enemy has laid out ever so cleverly.. And, “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.”                      (1 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭12‬)
