Scripture Reference: Proverbs 22: 5-6 / Mark 10: 13-16 / Matthew 19: 13-15 / Luke 18: 15-17

Almost forgotten, overlooked and ostracized are our youth of today. Sure there are Sunday School sessions, Friday Fun Nights, Vacation Bible Schools and different domestic activities fashioned about in our homes and programs geared primarily to garner the attention of the younger generation and all of that is good and well.. so how then are we losing them to the World around us that has no regard or interest in serving GOD and doesn’t even acknowledge JESUS other than on Easter Sunday and December 25th, if even then? JESUS Himself said: “..suffer not the little children to come; and forbid them not…” and He even went on to say that we to, meaning the adults, are to be like them with an innocence so peculiar when we approach Him ourselves. So, let’s dive in!!!

Final Thought: No way am I writing this passing judgment on any parent no matter race, creed, color, religious faith, denomination, him or her.. what GOD is speaking is that it is our responsibility as ADULTS, to instill in our own children, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, godchildren, our neighborhood and/or community’s children and so and so forth even overseas; that seeking GOD, obeying GOD, learning more about GOD, pursuing a personal relationship with GOD and allowing GOD to lead, guide and direct them is the single most important part of their upbringing. Doesn’t matter who you are, where you come from or what anyone else says including your Pastor (who I hope and pray is putting as much emphasis on this every chance he gets instead of just passing out candy and picture taking with smiles and hugs), please be sure to take the time (if you so choose to) to think and follow GOD’s Word and impart it into all children even the more if you aren’t already. We are losing the battle right now at an alarming rate and if you don’t believe me, just turn on the news for 30 minutes, scroll through social media and see the content that is luring our youth away from GOD, and you’ll see what I mean. 

“He is the Rock, his work is perfect: For all his ways are judgment: A God of truth and without iniquity, Just and right is he. They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: They are a perverse and crooked generation. Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? Is not he thy father that hath bought thee? Hath he not made thee, and established thee? Remember the days of old, Consider the years of many generations: Ask thy father, and he will shew thee; Thy elders, and they will tell thee.”
