Scripture Reference: Hosea 13:4-5, John 17:22-26

Is it really so hard to believe in a GOD that actually knew you before the creation of all things? Being quite honest before I knew Him which only came once I received the gift of His Holy Spirit, I struggled in my belief. Now having my eyes opened and enlightened by the truth of His Word, I know that He not only intentionally gave me life, but He knew me before I was even in my Mother’s belly. I’m not alone though, He knew you too and that alone is encouraging enough to lift us up when others try to tear us down!!! So, let’s dive in!!!

“Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me. I did know thee in the wilderness, in the land of great drought.” Hosea‬ ‭13‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

GOD spoke to the Prophet Hosea in regard to the Children of Israel to reassure them in remembrance of Who He was to them even when they were oppressed in the land of Egypt at the hands of the Pharaoh. He then gave an instruction that they should not follow after any other god (idols and/or false gods, that mankind created by the influence of satanic ideals and forces of darkness in high places).

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭12‬ ‭KJV

The Apostle Paul explained this to the congregation in Ephesus that it isn’t because of human flesh that wars are fault, that hearts are tainted with hate, that men want to control other men or that violence spreads quicker than lung cancer. It is because of the presence of the Prince of the  Power of the Air (Ephesians 2:2) and the fallen angels that roam the land at his bidding.

(Hosea 13:5) GOD comforts the Children of Israel by telling them that He knew them while they were in the wilderness as well. Yes, He knew their strengths and all of their weaknesses well before He used Moses to lead them out of Egypt and into the wilderness where they would rebel against His commandments, complain of the hardships they went through and even when their hearts turned to worship molten formed images while almost deciding to return to the bondage of slavery that they cried out to GOD about in their distress.

“And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.” ‭‭John‬ ‭17‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

GOD’s Plan of Salvation came through One Man, The Man JESUS CHRIST with us all in His mind to be perfected through the sacrifice of one life given for many.. US!!! GOD knew every mistake we’d make, saw every sin we would and will commit and yet and still His desire is that we all are One, united in CHRIST JESUS and glorified by GOD our Father!

“Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.” John‬ ‭17‬:‭24‬-‭26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

This we do know, that there is a place prepared for those that truly believe in the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and one day we will see JESUS as He is (1 John 3:2)

and that GOD loved Him even before the World that we now know was created. We in this World didn’t know GOD but JESUS did and those that have already been chosen do and will know GOD and that He sent His Son JESUS CHRIST to be the way for us to be saved, to stand for the truth of His Word and to be a light for all to see. JESUS fulfilled His duty of spreading the good news of the Gospel of our GOD and did not compromise a single Word even unto death. It was all so that we would know and believe that the same love that our Father had for His Son would rest in and on us and that the HOLY SPIRIT through JESUS CHRIST would remain in us!!!

Final Thought: “for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭3‬:‭23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The fact is that we all have just as this verse states: “..sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD..” but, the story doesn’t end there. GOD knew and knows our every weakness. He knows what causes us pain. He knows how will we will react to the pressures of life. He knows what it will take to get us back on track when we step off the path that He has intended for us. He knows every struggle, every trial and every hardship that we will face. He even knows who will accept Him into their lives and who will reject Him. He infinitely knows us all by name. Yet through all of these things, He still loves us as His Children and has chosen us who do truly believe and you who will run this race to inherit eternal life through JESUS CHRIST.. BECAUSE HE KNEW YOU!!!
