Scripture Reference: 1 John 2:18-25, 26-29

Isn’t it ever so clear that the end of all things is near? We’ve been told of this through the Holy Scriptures which were written for our learning. Yes, all of us! I could spend time pointing out examples, but unless you literally live under a rock, the signs of the times are all around you and right in your face every day.

So let’s dive in!!!

“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.” 1 John‬ ‭2‬:‭18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Apparent as it is, we are living in “the last times”. As JESUS opens up describing to us in a warning of what was to come, that is even now taking place. The “spirit of unbelief” is greater now than it ever was. Now there are those who have deceived and will deceive many while posing as “Angels of Light”.(2 Corinthians 11:13-15) This my Brothers and Sisters, is just one of the reasons we know that the end is near.

“They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.” 1 John‬ ‭2‬:‭19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

There are those that surely started out as Believers in CHRIST JESUS and the Plan of Salvation, but have now turned from the truth. It may be disheartening at times to see such change in those that we looked at, as being solid in GOD. Know that when we do see these things and there will be a lot more of it ahead (2 Thessalonians 2:3), they are supposed to happen according to the Word. It happens so that we that remain will be shown who they really were and are.

“But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.” 1 John‬ ‭2‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Scripture tells us that through the anointing of the Holy Spirit, we will know all things. The writer says to us then, that he didn’t write to us because we don’t know the truth of GOD’s Word, but rather because we through the Spirit do know exactly what the Word says and we know that it is not a lie.(Numbers 23:19)

“Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.” 1 John‬ ‭2‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Simply put, anyone who refuses to believe that JESUS is CHRIST our LORD and Savior, is a liar and is indeed an antichrist. The Scriptures go on to say, that denying who JESUS CHRIST is, is also denying who GOD our Father in Heaven is.. and those who do believe in JESUS CHRIST, are in GOD our Father as well.

Final Thought: “Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.”

As we are encouraged in and by the Word, let the truth and nothing but the truth of GOD’s Word remain in you.. heart, mind, body and soul. Once you do hear the truth of His Word (whenever you started to and/or will begin to believe in) allow it to stay in you and do not let anyone tell you differently nor allow the enemy to steal it from you. In doing so, you will keep going strong in GOD through JESUS CHRIST and this is a promise to us, along with eternal life!!! So stay in the know, because TIME IS SHORT!
