Undeniably so, whether we choose to be totally transparent about it or not, we all battle with or have battled with running this race. (Hebrews 12:1) This Scripture clearly lays it all out that the weight of this life happens whether we are those that are living for GOD, seeking to find Him or not even thinking about GOD. It points out that our flesh has battles with the true Spirit of GOD and what our flesh wants to do and that it may knock us down a few notches or even weigh on us causing shame for what we know is wrong, and in the process putting separation by our own choices between GOD’S endless love, compassion and kindness towards us.
One of the pillars of the congregation used to always say years ago: “Children, it takes a made up mind.. to go all the way!!!” Now, I truly understand exactly what that means! First things first, realizing that everything contrary to the Word of GOD is a falsehood that is designed to make us gradually draw away from the very One who has faithfully promised that as long as we obey Him, no good thing would He hold back from blessing His People with.(Psalm 84:11)
With that in mind and tucked in our hearts, secondly let us take into account that Our Father in Heaven already knows what tomorrow will bring in regards to each of our individual lives and He promises that He has already handled that without us getting in our heads with worries, doubts and unnecessary fears. (Matthew 10:29-31) We have a GOD who has taken every situation and has already worked it for our good, but we WILL ride on the bumpy roads of this life, oh but He has planned to make those smooth as well after a while. (1 Peter 5:10)
So tell me again, how is it that “resilience” through GOD comes as such a hard task to us??? Hmmm, yeah that part!!!

Side note of total transparency: It took me more than 3 weeks to finish this and it was intentional by GOD as I would face adversity while serving Him overseas, but that’s for another blog…
