Scripture Reference: John 16: 5-16

We were guaranteed in this life that we would be left a Comforter through the Holy Spirit and from Our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST giving His life on the cross at Calvary, being buried in Joseph of Arimathea’s tomb, rising again after 3 days and getting up with all power in His hands that Spirit would come.. being a part of Our GOD’s plan of salvation for all of us in this fallen World!!! If reassurance or a reminder of those facts is what you, I or anyone needs tonight, then it’s ours to have and to hold on to!!! So, let’s dive in!!!

Final Thought: GOD reminded me of this, this week leading up to the funeral and burial of my Auntie Flossie. You know what? Even in route to the sanctuary, there was an unspeakable peace that was over me and a joy stirring within me. You see, there was no way in the World I could have made it through that funeral if wasn’t for what Our GOD saw fit to pour out on me and to live inside of me on April 9th, 2017 on Leroy Gorham Drive in Capitol Heights, MD!!! That my beloved Brothers and Sisters is a proven fact!!! If we’re being totally transparent with ourselves, sometimes we need those reminders, some need to hear that there is hope in eternal salvation, some need to see it for themselves that the Holy Ghost is real both through reading of it in the Scriptures and moreover through experiencing it firsthand for yourself.  There is no one or nothing that can or could ever comfort us like the Holy Ghost!!! But you don’t have to believe me, read it for yourself and only believe!!!

“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)”
