The past few weeks have been.. well let me start this way.. self-reminiscing over the years that have gone by, I realize that in everything that I went through and still do whether emotionally, physically, mentally or socially, I was looking and have looked at things the wrong way. True enough I was nowhere near who our GOD has made me and continues to shape me into today, often finding creative ways to escape the realities of my own actions. Then there were ample times when even doing the right things or what I thought at the time were right, went way left. Fact is, who really wants to go through trials? Like really? It wasn’t until I came back to GOD that I began to see things beyond what was physically in front of me. No not in a psychic reader type of way, but in an “I’m not a victim, but a warrior destined for greatness in GOD” way!!! Why not me.. whom GOD has chosen to bear burdens to build me up and gain strength at the same time? Why not me.. losing beloved individuals to grasp how fragile life really is? Why not me.. being separated from everything and everyone who I looked to for support, just to make me self-sufficient on GOD alone? How about you? Can you see how GOD has allowed the hardest moments in your life, and actually intentionally meant to allow them for your good?

“But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.”

So, let’s dive in and gain spiritual muscle from swimming laps in His Word!!!

Final Thought: You see GOD has placed me in the most unique but uncomfortable position. Only through Him, do I have the chance to write down and speak what He says while leaving myself vulnerable for open judgement from you all. My Brothers and Sisters, if you haven’t already done so.. when you begin to see life’s experiences both good and bad (mainly the bad) as time spent in the “refinery of resilience”.. then all that heat you took, all the smoke you’ve dealt with, all the “how did I get here days” and “I should’ve never gotten out of the bed” days.. well, they will still sting.. but more like a mosquito bite rather than the strike of a venomous cobra!!!

If you haven’t given total and I mean complete control to GOD through faith.. and that goes for the professed saved as well as for the unsaved.. now would be a great time to let go!!! His promises are forever true and He promised that:

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”
