Scripture Reference: Galatians 6:7-8, Psalm 126:5, Ecclesiastes 11:6
Owning up to the fact that we are not always on our best behavior, is the beginning of Spiritual maturity. Realizing that how we treat others, how we hold some situations as more important that directly involve us more so than those of others and genuinely showing love towards even those that we don’t know or choosing to hate who or what we don’t know has their own repercussions.
So let’s dive in head first and receive the instructions of our FATHER in Heaven!!!
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” Galatians 6:7-8 KJV
The Scriptures warn us of what can happen when our thoughts and actions aren’t demonstrating the characteristics of being “made in the Image of GOD”. He says do not be tricked by what the flesh deems as “acceptable”, as what He has already set in order is nothing to play with nor is it to be ignored. GOD clearly states that what we allow our minds to think, our hearts to war with and ultimately what actions our reactions cause us to act out, are signs to us that we are being led by the things our flesh allows and not by the Spirit of our Living GOD. Likewise, when we feed our soul with the truth of His Word, obeying His Word and remain grounded in the foundation of Salvation through our LORD JESUS The CHRIST, we grow in faith, wisdom, understanding, knowledge and are led by His Spirit.
“They that sow in tears Shall reap in joy.”
Psalm 126:5 KJV
Will we have sorrow in this life? Absolutely and inevitably yes, we all will. We on the other side of that sorrow, have received a promise that even in that sorrow, the joy of our LORD is strength!!! (Nehemiah 8:10) Know that for every tear of desperation, heart ache, worry, anxiety, fear and depression among other things, all of our help comes from our LORD above (Psalm 121:1-2) His joy alone is our strength!!!
“In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.” Ecclesiastes 11:6 KJV
The Scripture tells us not to hold back from doing what is right throughout each day. Furthermore, we are told how do we know that the acts of kindness, compassion, mercy and grace we show to others, will not open doors or cause others to change their ways as well. The fact is, we don’t know what our actions will cause, but what we do know, is that choosing to do good rather than evil, does have its own rewards. (Isaiah 7:15)
Final Thought: “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;” Matthew 5:44 KJV
I know what you’re thinking: “Oh, he had to end with this verse!!!” Well, to that I will simply close with this: WATCH WHAT YOU SOW!!!
